ACC's media campaign to inform people about its drive against dishonest officials
3/25/2006

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has begun informing people through media about its trap-case drive and the process of lodging complaints with the Commission against the dishonest officials, reports UNB.
A competent ACC source said the Commission asked a national daily Thursday to run an advertisement providing necessary information about how to lodge complaints against the bribe-takers. The advertisement containing the ACC telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and other details will appear Sunday (March 26).
The advertisement titled 'The corrupt are enemies of country and nation: Get them captured' will urge people to seek ACC help if anyone is victim of corruption and denied legitimate rights.
The ACC advertisement gave assurance of protecting confidentiality of the complainant.
The telephone numbers on which the complainants are requested to complain are 8313884 and 9144584. Alternatively, the complainants will be able send e-mail to the Commission on two e-mail addresses: acc.bangladesh@gmail.com and anticorruption_commiss@yahoo.com
The ACC source said the advertisement would be gradually published in five national dailies. Later, the advertisement will also be aired on electronic media.
