Bumper sugarcane output in B'baria likely

          BRAHMANBARIA, Mar 28: A bumper sugarcane harvest is expected in the district this season as its production has doubled in some areas of the district, sources said.
According to the official sources, about 540 hectares of land have been brought under sugarcane cultivation in the district.
Of the total, 190 hectares of land are in Sadar Upazila and the rest in other seven upazilas.
The local farmers are happy with the harvest and its high price, sources added.
