Price indices at bourses nosedive

          The price indices on the country's two bourses nose-dived Tuesday, as the losing issues outplayed the gaining ones.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE ) All Share Price Index closed at 1142.47 points, registering 22.37 points or 1.92 per cent fall from 1154.84 points of Monday, the previous trading day.
The DSE General Index moved down by 29.79 points or 1.96 per cent to close at 1486.84 points from 1516.63.
The DSE-20 Index dropped by 21.22 points or 1.19 per cent to close at 1423.97 points from 1445.19.
The CSE All Share Price Index went down by 1.42 per cent to finish at 3123.67 points from 3168.64 points of Monday, the previous trading day.
The CSE-30 Index slipped by 1.60 per cent to close at 2901.21 points from 2948.54.
A total of 1.18 million shares and debentures, worth Tk 29.77 million, changed hands on the day, against the previous day's 1.17 million shares and debentures, valued at Tk 32.76 million.
