Rangpur Foundry earns Tk 18.94m net profit

          Rangpur Foundry Ltd earned a net profit of Tk 18.94 million in the year that ended on December 31, 2005. The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Tk 1.89.
Election of Reliance Insurance directors
The election of the directors of Reliance Insurance Ltd from public subscribers in the annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on May 27, 2006.
Lafarge Surma Cement AGM on June 28
The annual general meeting (AGM) of Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd will be held on June 28, 2006 at 11am at the BDR Darbar Hall, Peel Khana, Dhaka. The record date will be May 30, 2006. There will be no agenda on dividend declaration for the year 2005 in the AGM as it is not applicable.
Trading of shares under CDBL
Karnaphuli Insurance: Trading of shares of the company will be held under the CDBL from April 16, 2006. In this respect, the trading of the shares of the company will be allowed only in the spot market on April 09, 2006 and trading of the shares will remain suspended from April 10, 2006 to April 13, 2006 for finalisation of the demat process.

Singer BD earned a net profit of Tk 48.41 million in the year that ended on December 31, 2005. The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Tk 29.13.
Prime Finance earns Tk 95.95m net profit
Prime Finance & Investment Ltd earned a net profit of Tk 95.95 million in the year that ended on December 31, 2005. The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Tk 48.79.
