Rajshahi maintain unbeaten run

          A five-wicket haul by Shafaq Al Jabir enabled holders Rajshahi Division to earn two a wicket-win over Khulna Division in a one-day match of the Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 7th National Cricket League at Rajshahi Divisional Stadium Thursday, reports UNB.
With the day's win, Rajshahi Division not only maintained their unbeaten record in the ongoing league but also dominated the slot with 14 points while Khulna Division remained at four points, both playing seven matches.
Opted to bat first, Khulna Division were all out for 184 runs in 48 overs in the face of tight bowling assault by Shafaq Al Jabir who claimed five wickets for 24 runs.
Opener Nazmus Sadat scored 64 runs with a four, Sagir Hossain contributed 30 runs featuring two fours while Shamsur Rahman Shahajada (28) and Sazzadul Hasan (19) were the other notable contributors for Khulna Division.
In reply, Rajshahi Division reached their victory target making 188 runs for eight wickets in 48 overs with Nayeem Isalm scoring 28 runs with two fours and a six, Shurawardy Shuvo making 26 runs with two fours and a six while Farhad Hossain added also 26 runs, including four fours.
Nazmus Sadat claimed three wickets for 51 runs.
Shafaq Al Jabir of Rajshahi was adjudged man of the match for his magnificent performance.

Khulna Division - 184 for all in 48 overs, Nazmus Sadat 64, Sagir Hossai 30, Shamsur Rahman 28, Sazzadul Hasan 19, extras 12, Shafaq Al Jabir 5/24 and Farhad Hossain 2/39.
Rajshahi Division - 188 for 8 in 48 overs, Nayeem Islam 28, Farhad Hossain 26, Shurawardi Shuvo 26, Moniruzzaman 17, Farhad Reza 16, Junaid Siddeque 14 extras 15, Nazmus Sadat 3/51, Monirul Islam 1/10, Monjurul Islam 1/25, Ziaur Rahman 1/25 and Aslam Khan 1/30.
