Eskayef exports 12 products to Lankan market

          Eskayef Bangladesh Ltd, a leading pharmaceutical items manufacturer and exporter in the country, exported 12 products to Sri Lanka as a part of its massive business expansion in international market, said a press release.
Managing Director of Eskayef Bangladesh Ltd AM Faruque initiated the move following his visit to Colombo in August 2005 with his a business team.
"We want to be among the top three pharmaceutical ventures in Sri Lanka by 2010 and for this, application for another 44 new products have been submitted for registration in Sri Lanka", said Faruque.
Faruque added that he met some of the top officials of Sri Lankan government including the health secretary, the drugs administration director and the export promotion board chairman during his last visit to Sri Lanka.
He discussed with them various issues including technology transfer and future business prospect.
Faruque called on High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in Bangladesh Gamini S Munasinghe and thanked him for his active support and cooperation in expediting Eskayef's business in Sri Lanka.
Gamini has assured him of continuous support to Eskayef in future.
