PM visits Nandail today

          MYMENSINGH, March 4: Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is expected to visit Nandail Upazila in the district tomorrow (Sunday). During the visit, she will inaugurate the 17-kilometre-long Nandail-Dewanganj road. Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) completed the road at a cost of Tk 62 million, financed by Bangladesh government and Japan. About 0.1 million people of Achargaon, Sherpur and Kharua unions will directly benefit from the road. It has also established a direct road link with Gaffargaon and Hossainpur Upazilas of Kishoreganj district. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the upgrading of Nandail Upazila Health Complex from 31 to 50-bed facility. — BSS
