HABIGANJ, March 4: At least five people were injured as a bomb went off at an Urs at Umed Nagar in Habiganj Saturday night. The identity of the injured could not be known immediately. Sources said a bomb exploded with a huge bang at the Urs of Dewan Mahbub Raja at Umed Nagar in Habiganj at about 9:50pm leaving five people injured. Friday was the first day of the three-day Urs. After the incident, the police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. Witnesses said that the bomb did not explode with its maximum intensity. Otherwise, casualties could be much higher, they added. — BDNEWS
