Australia to set up cricket academy

          Australia will extend allout support to establish a Cricket Academy in Bangladesh and to provide efficient coaches for the development of the country's cricket, swimming and hockey, reports UNB.
Australian High Commissioner in Dhaka Lorraine Barker gave the assurance when she made a courtesy call on State Minister for Youth and Sports M Fazlur Rahman at the Bangladesh Secretariat Wednesday.
The Sports Minister informed the Australian envoy that Bangladesh cricket was improving day by day and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's government continued its efforts for the development of cricket.

 

Australian High Commissioner in Bangladesh Lorraine Barker called on State Minister for Youth and Sports Fazlur Rahman at his secretariat Wednesday to discuss setting up of a cricket accademy in Bangladesh.
