Citibank employees donate one day's salary for flood victims

          Citibank NA Bangladesh employees have joined hands with Shakti Foundation For Disadvantaged Women, one of the leading NGOs, to mobilise emergency relief fund for disaster areas in Bangladesh, where recent heavy rains and flood have caused major havoc.
This is a part of Citibank employees' getting involved in communities where they operate.
Apart from the donation, Citibank employees will directly remain involved in the relief operations with Shakti Foundation.
Citibank, Bangladesh Head of Human Resources and Administration Ziaur Rahman handed over the cheque to founding Executive Director of Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women Humaira Islam Thursday to support their effort.
Other senior officials from Citibank, Bangladesh including its CEO Mamun Rashid were present on the occasion.
Citibank has also supported the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society in helping the victims of this disaster and expressed its willingness to remain involved in the post-flood rebuilding activities.
