DUTP may be completed by December, says minister

          The works of Tk 8.27 billion (827 crore) Dhaka Urban Transport Project (DUTP) funded by the World Bank would be completed by December next. Communications Minister Nazmul Huda said this while presiding over a review meeting of the project in city Thursday. The project has been undertaken to develop the road communication infrastructures and transport system of the capital city. The meeting was apprised of the progress of development works of the 120-kilometre road in the city, Mohakhali fly-over, 59 important road intersections, modernisation of the inter-district bus terminals and other works under the project. — BSS
