FE Report
8/13/2006

National Credit and Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) signed agreements with Alfardan Exchange and Habib Qatar International Exchange Saturday for foreign exchange remittances to the country.
NCCB Managing Director Mohammed Nurul Amin and Assistant Vice-President Mohammed Abdul Mannan, currently in Doha on a business promotion tour, have also held discussions with several Qatari exchange houses, according to a report of the Gulf Times.
Nurul Amin said, the bank has introduced several services for Bangladeshi expatriates to ensure speedy and safe transfer of their money. He also urged the expatriates to help the government eliminate the menace of illegal money-transactions and avail of the bank's various services to invest money in Bangladesh.
NCCB's expatriate-centred services include wage-earners welfare deposit pension scheme, house loans, land purchase loans and speedy credit to the beneficiary's account.
