Juba Dal leader injured by criminals in Benapole

          BENAPOLE (Jessore), Aug 19 (UNB): A local Juba Dal leader was critically injured in an attack by criminals at Jirengachha village in Sarsha Upazila Friday.
Police and witnesses said, a gang of miscreants led by local terrorist Tota attacked Juba Dal leader Nuruzzaman Neda, 38, with sharp weapons in the afternoon following altercations over stealing of a mobile phone set.
The attackers fled away when nearby people rushed to the spot hearing the hue and cry of the victim.
Injured Neda was rushed to a local hospital in a critical condition.
Tension was prevailing in the village.
