Gasoline guzzlers to premiere at Detroit auto show

          DETROIT, Jan 1 (AFP): Gasoline prices may be high, but that is not stopping international carmakers from unveiling a slew of new petrol guzzlers at the Detroit auto show next week.
While demand for sport-utility vehicles (SUVs) has weakened in recent months, truck sales remain strong and automakers are betting that Americans are not ready to give up on SUVs just yet.
