KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 4 (Reuters): Malaysia reported slower-than-expected growth in November exports today, leaving economists divided on whether the trading nation has slipped behind the rest of the region or stays on a growth path. Exports rose 11.9 per cent in November from a year earlier, smaller than market expectations of 19.3 per cent, which the government said was because of fewer working days in a holiday-shortened month.
