Present govt fulfilled most of its election pledges: Babar
8/5/2006

NETRAKONA, Aug 4 (BSS): The present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has fulfilled most of its election pledges.
State Minister for Home Affairs Lutfozzaman Babar said this while addressing several public meetings at different places under the district Friday.
"The present government has earned confidence at home and abroad for curbing crime, terrorism and militancy side by side with ensuring peace and security in the country", he said.
He referred to the outstanding performance of the present government especially in the fields of curbing crimes and said no terrorist or militant was either spared or patronised during the governance of Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
A particular political party has been hatching conspiracies for creating unrest and anarchy in the country with a view to hindering the current development process and destroying the hard-earned democracy, Babar said.
He urged the people to remain vigilant against the evil designs of any quarter and cast their votes in favour of the BNP in the next Jatiya Sangsad election to continue the development process.
