BRAHMANBARIA, Jan 15: The fertiliser production of Ashugonj Zia Fertiliser Factory (AZFF) remained suspended since January 4 on account of a mechanical fault.
Sources at AZFF said an expert from Dhaka tried to resume its production but failed after much effort.
On the other hand, a section of dishonest traders are increasing the prices of fertiliser taking the opportunity and thus intensifying the miseries of the farmers.
