A level under Cambridge in Oxford International School

Oxford International School (OIS) has commenced A level programme under Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Accounting, Business Studies, Computing and Law.
The inaugural programme was held recently at the newly built Dr. Qudrat-I-Khuda auditorium of the school. Parents, A level teachers and newly admitted A level students attended the ceremony.
OIS has invested significant resources for the new A Level initiative, bringing together a team of a high profile academics and teaching staff. The school has already set up modern science laboratory facilities according to the Cambridge specifications. In addition, computer labs with high speed Internet connectivity, resource room for the teachers and students and enriched library service so that the students can take the full advantage of quality education.
Addressing the opening ceremony Mark Parkinson, principal, head of school said throughout the world CIE 'A' levels are considered to be 'Gold Standard'. Principal Ramona Anand said through introduction of the CIE 'A' Levels OIS demonstrated its commitment to become the most respected institution in Bangladesh. Among others professor A F M Khodadat Khan, consultant for training and academic development spoke on behalf of the A-Level teaching staff.
