New office-bearers of BMCCI

Chairman of the Nitol Group Abdul Matlub Ahmad and Managing Director of the SMH Group of Companies and President of the Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association Syed Moazzam Hossain have been elected president and secretary general respectively of the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) for the years 2006-2007.
They were elected at the fourth annual general meeting (AGM) of BMCCI held in the city Thursday, said a press release.
The other office-bearers of the association are vice presidents Ahmed Bin Ismail and Abdus Salam, Joint Secretary General M Farukul Islam Shova and Treasurer Nasim Imam.
The directors are Salahuddin Kasem Khan, AKM Shahidul Sheikh Islam, Ashraful H Chowdhury, Md Osman Gani Chowdhury, AKM Fakhrul Alam, Md Mahtab Uddin, Kamal Mostafa Chowdhuty, Sheikh Mohd. Abdus Sobhan, Md Zakiullah Shahid and Md Shahidullah Azim.
All the members of the board of directors have been elected uncontested.
