Delta Life, Eastern Cables: The trading of shares of Delta Life Insurance and Eastern Cables will be held in "Z" category from existing "A" category from Sunday, as the companies have failed to hold their current annual general meeting (AGM) in 2005.
Ashraf Textile, Perfume Chemicals, Tamijuddin Textile: The trading of shares of Ashraf Textile, Perfume Chemicals and Tamijuddin Textile will be held in "Z" category from existing "B" category from Sunday (January 1, '06), as the companies have failed to hold their current annual general meeting (AGM) in 2005.
Standard Ceramics: The shares of Standard Ceramics Limited was placed in 'B` category from existing 'A` category from Thursday as the company declared 7.50 per cent dividend in the annual general meeting (AGM) Wednesday (December 28, '05).

Spot market trading
Spot market trading of the shares of Bata Shoe Company will be allowed with benefit between Sunday (January 1, '06) and Tuesday (January 3, '06) and trading of the shares will remain suspended on record date Wednesday (January 4, '06).

Shares sale
A & A Investment Limited, one of the directors of National Bank Limited, has expressed its willingness to sell 1,396 shares out of its holding of 8,378 shares of the bank at prevailing market price through stock exchange within next 30 working days.

Sponsor to transfer shares
Moazzam Hossain, one of the sponsors of the National Bank Limited, has expressed his willingness to transfer 1,94,966 shares out of his holding of 5,04,762 shares of the bank to his family members Ilya R Hossain (79,228 shares), Mabroor Hossain (45,293 shares) and Mehtaj Hossain (70,445 shares) by way of gift outside the trading system of the stock exchange.

Confirmation of shares sale
Industrial Promotion and Development Company of Bangladesh Limited (IPDC), one of the corporate sponsor/directors of the IDLC, has stated that it has completed its sale of 1,20,000 shares of the company at prevailing market price through stock exchange as announced earlier.
