CCCI places 16-point recommendation

Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) President Saifuzzaman Chowdhury has placed a 16-point recommendation to solve the country's banking and financial problems by ensuring the necessary discipline, transparency and accountability in these sectors. He placed the recommendations to Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Salehuddin Ahmed in an opinion-exchange meeting with him recently.
The BB Governor in his speech assured the CCCI delegation of giving special emphasis on solving the present problems in port-city's banking and financial institutions.
BGMEA First Vice President SM Abu Toyob, CSE First Vice President Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, NCCBL Chairman Waji Ullah Bhuiya and CCCI directors Ershad Ullah, Md Amirul Haque, Hasanuzzaman Chowdhury and Nasir Uddin also spoke on the occasion.
CCCI directors Syed Jamal Ahmed, Moinul Islam Mahmud, Md Nurun Newaj Selim, Mahbub Alam, Mahfujul Haque Shah, Rafiqur Rahman, Syed Ahsanul Haque, Ashik Bhuiya, Md Anwar Shawkat Afsar, Jahirul Islam Chyowdhury (Alamgir), SM Nuruddin, Md Abdul Malek, Abu Haidar Chowdhury (Amjad) and Md Mohsin along with former president of CCCI Ali Ahmed, C&F Agents Association President AKM Akhter Hossain, State Bank of India Chittagong Regional Chief DB Roth and IFAB President Amirul Islam Chowdhury were also present at the meeting.
