Employment Bank disburses Tk 5.4m loans

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 22 (UNB): The Employment Bank disbursed loans amounting to over Tk 5.4 million (54 lakh) among 89 unemployed youths here in the last six months of the current fiscal year.
The bank realised outstanding loans of over Tk 3.1 million during the same period.
The loans were given for establishing poultry farms, pisciculture, tailoring business, grocery, pharmacy, nursery and for purchasing computer, rickshaw van etc.
