Japan keen to invest in energy sector

A Japanese company Sunday showed its keen interest in investing in the Bangladesh's energy sector having immense possibility with huge oil and gas reserves. A delegation of the Japan Energy Development Co Ltd (JED), a domestic and overseas exploration, development and production organisation of Japan, met the Energy Advisor Mahmudur Rahman at the ministry. Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Matsushiro Horiguchi accompanied the delegation while JED president Masahiro Nakamora along with an oil expert was also present. — BDNEWS
