Welcome to the U.S. Trade Show 2006! The United States Embassy is proud to once again collaborate with the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh in hosting this premier event. This is the fifteenth annual U.S. Trade Show in Bangladesh, and I am confident that it will be the best ever.
This event showcases American products and services currently available in Bangladesh and introduces an exciting array of new products. Exhibitors in this year's Show represent the full spectrum of American business. From Caterpillar generators, to Cargill agricultural goods to Citibank financial services, the U.S. products and services on display have what you want. The featured products and services reflect American quality and ingenuity at its finest, at competitive prices the world has come to expect from the United States.
Exhibitors at the Show are also here to help you - Bangladeshi business representatives and consumers - become more aware of the advantages of buying American products. American technology and innovation continue to give U.S. business the leading role and competitive edge in the world marketplace, and U.S. business commitment to customer service ensures that you will be a satisfied customer. I encourage you to visit the display booths and ask questions of the exhibitors. Get to know them and the products and services they have to offer. Members of the Embassy's economic/commercial staff will be available throughout the Show, and I hope you will also contact our U.S. Trade Center whenever you need assistance in connecting with American business.
