Buddhists celebrate Maghi Purnima today

CHITTAGONG, Feb 11 (BDNEWS): Buddhists will celebrate one of their major festivals "Maghi Purnima" Sunday in the city and elsewhere in the district with traditional enthusiasm and solemn devotion.
The Maghi Purnima will be celebrated in all Buddhist monasteries and other religious organisations through day long programme.
The day's programme will be heralded with hoisting of the national and religious flags atop all monasteries, chanting of the sacred verses from the Tripitaka.
