PM to address Rajshahi div BNP grand rally today

BNP Chairperson and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is expected to address the Rajshahi Divisional Grand Rally here today (Wednesday), reports BSS.
Necessary preparations for holding the rally at the local madrasa maidan were at the final stage yesterday (Tuesday).
Mayor of Rajshahi Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, who is also the convenor of the Grand Rally Preparation Committee, said the rally would be made successful with cooperation from all quarters.
On the first leg of her daylong visit here, Prime Minister will inaugurate the Rajshahi Model School and College at Kazihata.
Officials said Education Engineering Department (EED) under the Ministry of Education has supervised the construction work of the five-storied school and college, which was built on two acres of land at a cost of Tk 97.4 million (9.74 crore) aimed at providing quality education to the students.
Some 1,100 students from class six to nine and another 1,800 students in higher secondary classes will get chance for learning in this high-profile educational institution.
Minister for Women and Children Affairs Khurshid Jahan Haque, Post and Telecommunications Minister Aminul Haque, State Minister for Power Iqbal Hassan Mahmud, State Minister Cultural Affairs Selima Rahman, State Minister for Housing and Public Works Alamgir Kabir, State Minister for Labour and Manpower Aman Ullah Aman and Deputy Minister for Food and Disaster Management Asadul Habib Dulu will accompany the Prime Minister during her visit.
