SEOUL, Mar 28 (AFP): South Korea Tuesday agreed to offer US$20 million to a UN health aid programme for North Korean children, the Unification Ministry said.
Under the accord signed by Unification Minister Lee Jong-Seok and World Health Organisation chief Lee Jong-Wook, the WHO will spend $10.68 million this year and the remainder in 2007 on buying medicines and improving health care systems for children and pregnant women, the ministry said.
