Indian miscreants attack Bangladeshi villagers: Six hurt

Two Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) personnel and four villagers were injured and 90 rounds of SMG ammunition and three magazines looted from injured BDR men by the armed Indian hooligans who launched half an hour long attack inside the Bangladesh territory around Tuesday noon, reports BSS.
According Patgram report, hundreds of armed Indian miscreants illegally intruded 400 yards inside Bangladesh territory at Nabinagar border in Lalmonirhat while constructing an illegal road near the zero line and conducted attacks on the patrolling jawans of BDR and frontier villagers.
When contacted by phone, BDR Director General Shakil Ahmed said the turmoil on the border was over and the situation was now under control.
Shakil said Rangpur Sector Commander Lutfur Rahman immediately talked to BSF Commander of Shiliguri and Jalpaiguri sectors by telephone and lodged strong protests against such illegal actions by the Indian criminals.
