ICMAB delegates call on state minister for finance

A delegation of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (lCMAB) headed by its Vice President Satipati Moitra called on State Minister for Finance and Planning M Anwarul Kabir Talukder at the latter's office Monday.
The ICMAB vice president briefed the minister about various activities of the institute, the role of cost and management accountants in poverty alleviation, economic development of the country, etc.
He requested the minister to extend his guidance and cooperation to develop the institute as well as the cost and management accountancy profession.
M Anwarul Kabir assured the ICMAB delegates of all possible assistance for development of the institute as well as its ancillary profession.
Also present, among others, were another vice president Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, Treasurer Mohammed Salim, Council Member Chowdhury Hafizur Rahman and Additional Director (Admn) Mofazzal Hossain.
