Nepalese entrepreneurs urged to set up jt venture enterprises

Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal M Humayun Kabir urged Saturday the business leaders of Nepal to take advantage of the facilities and opportunities available in Bangladesh for expanding trade and commerce between the two countries, reports BSS.
He said this while exchanging views with the leaders of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries at Pokhara in Nepal, a message received in the city from Kathmandu said.
During the discussion Bangladesh ambassador briefed them about the exiting facilities in Bangladesh and called upon them to come forward for joint venture investment.
Referring to the forthcoming Dhaka International Trade Fair, he urged them to participate in it to display Nepalese products. He also stressed the need for exchanging business delegations between the two countries.
President of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries Rajendra Kumar Lal Chan said Nepalese businessmen are keen to further strengthen their trade relations with Bangladesh.
He expressed the willingness to work with any chamber of commerce and industries of Bangladesh as its sister organisation.
The members of the executive committee of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries were present on the occasion.
