The main opposition Awami League (AL) will announce an all out comprehensive action programme, including hartal and siege, from its grand rally in the city on November 15 to force the alliance government to quit, leading to establishment of a democratic government. "We're considering November 15 as a turning point (of the anti-government movement)," Awami League General Secretary Abdul Jalil MP told reporters after the party's working committee meeting at Dhanmondi office in the city Friday, reports UNB. Jalil ruled out the possibility of Awami League's return to parliament that was summoned to meet on November 20. He said "this parliament has become a partisan parliament that failed to give anything to the nation. This is a dysfunctional parliament." Chaired by AL President Sheikh Hasina, the meeting focused on latest political situation with special reference to the observance of the November 3 as the Jail Killing Day, holding of grand rally on November 15 and highlighting public misery caused by price-hike, Monga and law and order situation.
