MAKKAH, Oct 28 (BSS): Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has performed holy Umrah at Makkah Al Mukarrama.
She offered special Munajat seeking divine blessing of the Almighty Allah for peace, progress and prosperity of the country and the Muslim Ummah.
Khaleda Zia took Iftar with the devotees at the holy Masjidul Haram and offered Magreb, Esa and Tarabih prayers there. Arafat Rahman, youngest son of the Prime Minister, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Meer Mohamamd Nasiruddin, Mosaddek Ali MP, and Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia SM Ekramul Huq accompanied her.
Earlier, Khaleda reached Jeddah’s King Abdul Aziz International Airport Thursday by a special royal aircraft from Medina Monwara.
She drove in a ceremonial motorcade at Makkah Mukarra-ma royal guest palace.
