Barisal post second successive win

          Barisal Division posted their 2nd consecutive victory in a four-day match of the Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 7th National Cricket League beating leaders Rajshahi Division by 115 runs on the 3rd day at the Barisal Divisional Stadium Sunday, reports UNB.
With this win, Barisal Division secured 16 points from six matches, four points behind joint leaders Dhaka Division and Rajshahi Division.
Earlier, Barisal Division resumed their 2nd innings with overnight 181 for 4 in 48 overs and were all out for 320 in 95.3 overs after lunch, setting a target of 228 runs to Rajshahi Division.
Mohammad Shahin of Barisal Division was adjudged man of the match for his 68 runs in the 2nd innings.
Shafaq Al Jabir captured three wickets for 65 runs in 20 overs while Farhad Hossain, also grabbed three wickets for 79 runs in 27 overs.
Earlier, Barisal Division scored 168 runs in the first innings while Rajshahi Division made 261 in the first innings.
Chasing a target of 228, Rajshahi Division started their 2nd innings after lunch and were dismissed for 112 in 42.2 overs amid some tight bowling by Barisal Division bowlers.

Second innings - 112 for all in 42.2 overs, Junaid 24, Naim 18, Shamimul not out 15, Farhad Hossain 13, extras 8, Anisur 3/16, Monir 3/33.
In the day's another match at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka, holders Dhaka Division were trailing by 315 runs in their 2nd innings against Sylhet Division at stumps on day three.
Earlier, Sylhet Division resumed the day with overnight 82 for 4 in 39 overs and were all out for 286 runs in 110.4 overs, setting a target of 338 runs to Dhaka Division.
In reply, Dhaka Division made a slow start in their 2nd innings scoring 22 runs in 17 overs for the loss of one wicket when the bails were drawn for the day.
Anwar Hossain and Kamrul Islam were batting with nine and two runs respectively.

Hosts Khulna Division took 87-run second innings lead over Chittagong Division on the third day of a four-day match at Khulna Divisional Stadium Sunday.
Earlier in the day Chittagong Division were all out for 422 in 105 overs, in reply to Khulna Division's first innings 292 runs.
