North Korean Public Health Minister Kim Su Hak visited the pharmaceutical plant of Beximco in Tongi Saturday. Chief Executive Officer of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited Nazmul Hassan welcomed the visiting North Korean health minister and his companions and briefed them on the different production lines of the plant. The health minister highly appreciated the quality control process of this technology-driven company. He also praised the quality of the products, absolutely sterile environment and minimum human contact in producing drug in the plant. He showed special interest in the company's high-tech specialised products like inhalers, nasal sprays, suppositories, injectables and IV fluids (saline). He visited the state-of-the-art IV Fluid and Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) plants and new USFDA standard Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) plant.
