N Korean health minister visits Beximco Pharma plant in Tongi

          North Korean Public Health Minister Kim Su Hak visited the pharmaceutical plant of Beximco in Tongi Saturday.
Chief Executive Officer of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited Nazmul Hassan welcomed the visiting North Korean health minister and his companions and briefed them on the different production lines of the plant.
The health minister highly appreciated the quality control process of this technology-driven company.
He also praised the quality of the products, absolutely sterile environment and minimum human contact in producing drug in the plant.
He showed special interest in the company's high-tech specialised products like inhalers, nasal sprays, suppositories, injectables and IV fluids (saline).
He visited the state-of-the-art IV Fluid and Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) plants and new USFDA standard Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) plant.
Beximco Pharma, a leading drug manufacturer and the largest pharmaceutical exporter in Bangladesh, provides technical know-how to its importers and also offers contract-manufacturing facilities to multinational companies.
The company manufactures and markets its own 'branded generics' for almost all the diseases from AIDS to cancer, from infection to asthma, from hypertension to diabetes, for both national and international markets.
Besides, Beximco Pharma contracts manufactures for major international brands of leading multinational companies.

North Korean Public Health Minister Kim Su Hak visited the state-of-the-art pharmaceutical plant of Beximco in Tongi Saturday. Nazmul Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited, welcomed the delegation. Among others, Beximco Pharma Director (Marketing) Rabbur Reza and Senior Marketing Manager Rizvi Ul Kabir were present.
