Resignation from JIF
I did it willingly, not by any high command: Huda
1/23/2006

Communications Minister Nazmul Huda has said he does not follow the dictate of any 'high command', rather he goes by the order of the 'highest command' and his resignation from the lawyers' forum was not following any order from any highest command.
An outspoken Huda Sunday told this to the press in which he clarified his position saying that confusion evoked among the lawyers following his resignation from the post of president of the Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum (JIF) that must be removed, report agencies.
"I have resigned to strengthen the unity process of the forum. But some newspapers are publishing fictitious news that I have resigned being scolded by the Prime Minister and thereby creating confusion among the lawyers," he said adding that there was no direction from the highest command in connection with my resignation.
Huda said he tried to 'present a committee' of the forum and its advisers' panel with his own initiative through a council, as there was lack of initiative from the high command for the unity of the Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum.
