AFC U-17 football
A must-win match for both teams
11/21/2005

Both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka want to win in the qualifying match of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-17 Football Championship at the Bangabandhu National Stadium Monday, reports BDNEWS.
"We will play to win," Bangladesh Under-17 National Team coach Mohammad Mahmud Hossain Roxy told a press conference in Dhaka Sunday.
"We have a balanced team though we have a little problem in the forward," he said.
He said: In the practice match against Under-20 national team we missed at least five chances in the open net situation.
Sri Lanka U-17 coach D Chandrasiri, who had played for Abahnai in 1985-86 and Dhanmondi Club in 1986-87 as goalkeeper, said, "We came here to win the match and we have a balanced team."
"We have good goalkeeper and also our defence is good. We will play in 4-4-2 format," he informed the press conference.
Bangladesh will play the away match against the same opponent on November 25 at the CR and FC Ground, Colombo.
