Barisal earn nine-wkt win over Sylhet

          Host Barisal Division earned a nine-wicket win over Sylhet Division in a four-day match of the of the Ispahani Mirzapur Tea 7th National Cricket League at Barisal Divisional Stadium Saturday, reports UNB.
Earlier in the first innings, Barisal Division were all out for 201 runs.
Resuming the second innings (first innings 193 for all) with the overnight score of 114 for three wickets, Sylhet Division were cheaply dismissed for 160 runs in 58.5 overs.
Chasing 153 for victory, Barisal Division in their second innings made 156 for one in 41.2 overs with Hannan Sarkar and Nasiruddin hitting unbeaten half centuries.
Opener Hannan Sarkar contributed 72 runs off 128 balls with 12 fours while Nasiruddin scored 64 runs in 107 balls, featuring six fours and a six.
Tapash Baishya took one wicket for 31 runs.
Brief score: Sylhet Division first innings - 193 all out in 71.3 overs; Golam Mabud 47, Tapash Kumar Baishya 41, Rana Mia 30, Golam Rahman 22, Ashiqur Rahman 15, Rezaul Haq 14, extras 12, Sajid Islam 3/40, Arafat Salauddin 2/27, Marshall Ayub 2/40, Ali Arman 1/15, Nadif Choudhury 1/39.
Barisal Division first innings - 201 all out in 60.2 overs; Mohammad Shaheen 47, Imran Ahmed 34, Hannan Sarkar 22, Humayun Kabir 20, Ali Arman not out 18, Anisur Rahman not out 16, extras 15, Ashiqur Rahman 3/45, Tapash Baishya 3/53, Hasibul Hossain 3/67.
Sylhet Division second innings - 160 all out in 58.5 overs,
Barisal Division Second innings - 156 for 1 in 41.2 overs; Hannan Sarkar not out 72 Nasiruddin not out 64, extras 14, Tapash Baishya 1/31.
