Bangladesh observes mourning day today (Wednesday) to show respect for Pope John Paul II, who died early Sunday in the holy Vatican City. On the day, all the government, semi-government, autonomous and private organisations and Bangladesh missions abroad will fly the national flag at half-mast. —UNB
