Road accident leaves five dead in Bogra

          BOGRA, Apr 7: Five people were killed and 10 others injured in separate road accidents here today. A Rangpur-bound truck turned turtle in its futile attempt to save an elderly cyclist leaving four people spot-dead at Telihara at about 7:15am. Two victims were identified as cyclist Nirapad Mohanta Karmaker (60) of Shahjahanpur Upazila and truck passenger Jabbar Ali (35) of Dupchachia Upazila. Others could not be identified immediately. In another incident, Nannu (45), a resident of Gabtali Upazila, was run over by a truck at Colony Bazar in the town at about 10:00am. — UNB
