SAVAR, Dec 25 (BDNEWS): A female construction worker fell to her death from the roof of a 15-storeyed under-construction building at the Savar cantonment, police said Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Morium Bibi (48), wife of Phool Mia of Potarbill village under Panchbibi thana of Joypurhat district.
Police said the accident occurred when Morium went to the roof of third floor to wash herself as usual after finishing her daily work. She slipped from the roof accidentally.
She was rushed to Savar Cantonment Hospital where the attended doctor declared her dead.
An unnatural death case was filed with the Ashulia thana in this connection.
