A blazing half-century from Arif Ahmd powered Gazi Tank to a five-wicket victory over Kathalbagan GCC in the First Division Cricket League at the City Club ground Thursday, reports BDNEWS. Gazi Tank piled up a challenging 247 for nine in 50 overs as Arif hit a fine 50 off 56 balls with four fours and one six. Besides, Arman Hossain's 40, Kawshik's 36 and Rashedul's 27 were notable scorers for the winners. Kathalbagan GCC, in reply, all out for 192 in 48.3 overs. SA Tuhin hit 50 off 70 balls that included five fours and one six, but that was not enough for Kathalbagan to avoid a defeat. AB Jitu made an unbeaten 26 followed by Sabuj's and Jahid's 22 each.
