Bangladesh Judicial Service Association (BJSA) Sunday suspended its action programme to realise an 11-point demand following government's 'positive' assurances. "We have suspended our movement as the Law Minister Moudud Ahmed has assured us that our demands will be fulfilled in phases," BJSA President Rafiqul Islam told newsmen after a meeting with the Law Minister at the secretariat. BJSA demands include adequate security and transport facilities for the judges and reservation of 50 per cent quota for their elevation to the High Court bench. — UNB
