Third five-star hotel opens in city
FE Report
2/14/2006

The Radisson Water Garden Hotel, country's third five-star hotel, was formally inaugurated with a slogan 'Yes I Can' in the city Monday.
The grand opening of the hotel, a sister concern of the Carlson Hotel Worldwide, was announced through a press conference held at the hotel's conference room on the day.
Addressing the press conference, General Manager of the hotel Ian Barrow said that the location and comprehensive facilities available at Radisson would make the hotel perfectly suited to both business and leisure travellers.
The Radisson Water Garden Hotel is situated near the diplomatic enclave and upcoming blue chip commercial hub of Gulshan, Baridhara, Banani and five kilometres away from Zia International Airport (ZIA).
Ian said the hotel having 206 rooms is constructed on more than seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with modern interior design and architecture, an outdoor tennis court, world-class health spa, well-equipped fitness centre, jogging track, swimming pool and access to nearby golf course.
