Musical legend and a Language Movement veteran Abdul Latif died of old-age complications at the Suhrawardy Hospital in the city Saturday. He was 78. He was suffering from asthma for a long time. Family sources told the BSS that he had severe respiratory problems late Friday night and was given treatment at home. As his condition deteriorated, he was taken to Suhrawardy Hospital where the doctors declared him dead. — BSS
