A five-day training course on Rural Banking and Micro Finance, conducted by the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), concluded recently.
A total of 30 senior bank officials participated in the course. The BIBM designed the course to acquaint the participants with the operational procedure, mechanism of rural credit and micro finance programmes, specially with regard to their identification, formulation, appraisal, follow-up and supervision, in the context of the credit structure in rural Bangladesh.
BIBM faculty members Sk Nazibul Islam and Md Nurul Haq Majumder jointly coordinated the course.
