Four banks disburse Tk 78.4m loans in Jhalakati

          JHALAKATI, Feb 6 (UNB): Four banks disbursed over Tk 78.4 million (7.84 crore) as agri-loan in the district during the first six months of the current fiscal year.
Of the total, Bangladesh Krishi Bank disbursed Tk 64 million, Sonali Bank Tk 7.68 million, Agrani Bank over Tk 2.91 million and Janata Bank Tk 3.82 million.
They also realised Tk 78.4 million outstanding loans against the target of Tk 168.7 million during the period.
The banks set a target to disburse Tk 31.90 crore as agri loan in four upazilas of the district during the current fiscal year.
