Robber, terror killed in encounter with RAB in Bagerhat, Savar

          SAVAR, Mar 9 (UNB): A top terror and Juba League leader was killed in a shootout between his cohorts and Rapid Action Battalion members at Khagan village of Birulia union Thursday.
RAB sources said they arrested Iman Ali, 40, member of Dhaka Zila Committee of Juba League from Dhaka Judge Court premises Wednesday when he was returning by a car after appearing before the court.
After interrogation, RAB took him to his residence at Akran village in Birulia at about 7:0 pm Wednesday for recovering firearms but didn't find any firearms there.
Meanwhile, a suspected ringleader of a gang of robbers was killed in an encounter between his cohorts and RAB at Gobindpur Paschhimpara village in Rampal Upazila Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Mohan Mollah alias Mohan Dakat, 49, ringleader of the infamous 'Mohan Bahini' of the Sundarbans.
