Bogra Test witnesses seven records

          When Bangladesh are heading towards certain defeat in the second test against the visitors Sri Lanka at Shaheed Chandu Stadium, the new test venue witnessed seven records in the Test history, reports BDNEWS.
Muttiah Muralitharan touched the milestone of the 600-testwicket club on the third day (Friday) as world's second bowler after Australian Shane Warne and the Sri Lankan star became the first bowler to take five-wicket in an innings for a record fifty times.
Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene also entered into the 100-catch club.
Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara reached 150-dismissal club.
Upal Tharanga hit his maiden Test century scoring 165 before being removed by pacer Shahadat Hossain Razib.
Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga, who captured a total of five wickets in both the innings in the Bogra Test, touched the 50-wicket club.
