Business linkage fair begins in city

          Citibank and Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women have organised a special business linkage fair, scheduled for March 10-11, with the participation of many women entrepreneurs at Kalabagan Cricket Ground in the city in commemoration of the International Women's Day.
More than 92 women entrepreneurs with more than 50 stalls producing different items ranging from leather products, electrical goods, stained glass, garments, stuffed toys, handicrafts, toiletries, bathroom fittings etc. are participating in the fair with the event theme being "Bindu Theke Britto-Khudro Uddoktader Mela".
The two-day fair was formally inaugurated by Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) Managing Director Fakhruddin Ahmed in presence of Citibank N.A. Chief Executive Officer Mamun Rashid and Shakti Foundation Founder Executive Director Humaira Islam.
