Greek Hellenic Shipping, Kyrgyz govt sign MoU

          Greek Hellenic Shipping Services and the Government of Kyrgyz Republic have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for establishing International Merchant Ship Registry.
The MoU was signed at the office of the honorary consul of Kyrgyz Republic in Bangladesh in the city recently, said a press release.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended, among others, by Kyrgyz Charge d' Affaires (based in Delhi) Saktanbek Kadyraliev, Managing Director of Hellenic Shipping Services Michael Leondakis and its Director Dennis Martingos.
Honorary Consul of Kyrgyz Republic in Bangladesh Kazi Shamsul Haque and Chief Coordinator Abdullah Mohibuddin were also present at the ceremony.
The MoU will generate huge revenue for the Kyrgyz government, the release added.
Besides, this will also open new opportunities for Bangladeshi seamen and deck officers and others who will have better job opportunities through introduction of the ship registration, the release mentioned.
